Reflection or write-up on the communicative tool ๐ป
๐We touched on the communicative tool where I came to know that in teaching and learning ICT (Information and Communication
Technology) in primary education, communicative tools play a crucial role in engaging students, fostering digital literacy, and facilitating
interactive learning experiences. These tools not only enhance the
presentation of ICT concepts but also promote active participation, critical
thinking, and problem-solving skills among students. Moreover, they facilitate
collaborative projects, enabling students to collaborate, communicate, and
co-create digital content, thereby preparing them for the demands of the
digital age.
As an educator, we can use many communicative tools while teaching like Learning Management Systems(LMS), Web conferencing tools (Zoom, seminars), Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality, Google Classroom, and many more. The most common communicative tool we used in our school, is the 'Google Classroom' which stands out as a good example of a communicative tool revolutionizing teaching and learning practices, particularly in the realm of ICT education in primary schools.
Through Google Classroom, educators can transcend the constraints of physical classrooms, engaging students in interactive learning experiences regardless of their geographical locations. Moreover, the platform fosters collaboration among students, promoting peer-to-peer learning and facilitating the exchange of ideas in virtual spaces.
